Edward Mbewe

Edward Mbewe oversees the human resources, information technology, financial management, and other operations of the Shriver Center. Edward is a seasoned executive leader in finance and administrative operations, with experience improving and managing financial reporting, revenue cycles, budgeting processes, financial modeling, and grant processes. Before joining the Shriver Center, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Planned Parenthood of Illinois and worked in similar roles for healthcare systems and organizations. A Certified Public Accountant, Edward also holds master’s degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and Financial Management. As an active volunteer in the community, he helps the DuPage Soccer Academy in Addison and supports an orphanage in Malawi.
