COVID-19 has laid bare what happens when an entire low-income population – namely low-income adult undocumented immigrants – has been excluded by design from affordable health care options. Undocumented immigrants face incredible barriers to health care, from uncertain coverage of testing and treatment to fear of immigration consequences.
