Keenya Lambert is responsible for expanding the Shriver Center’s annual fund and major donor programs. Through a five-year national initiative, Keenya will help raise $3 million to support priority programming and long-term organizational needs. Keenya brings more than 10 years of successfully nonprofit experience in fundraising, youth development, arts management, and social services. Prior to joining the Shriver Center in 2013, Keenya was the Development Manager and Grant Writer for the Chicago Urban League and KIPP Ascend Charter School. Keenya’s experience includes major gifts, annual appeals, grants administration, event management, prospect research, and board development. In 2013, Keenya joined the Auxiliary Board of the Chicago Children’s Museum. In addition to Keenya’s most recent positions, she has had the honor of working with remarkable organizations such as: Arts Alliance Illinois, Street-Level Youth Media, Struggling Youth Equals Successful Adults, The Firehouse Community Arts Center, and Riverwoods Christian Center. Keenya earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education/Youth Development from Wheaton College and a Masters in Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago.
