Emily Bloom-Carlin Housing and Homelessness VISTA

Emily Bloom-Carlin graduated from Indiana University in 2010 with degrees in Political Science and History. Before joining the Shriver Center, she worked at Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership where she advocated for families experiencing homelessness and provided housing case management at a state funded overflow shelter. Prior to that, she assisted chronically homeless individuals with housing search and post-placement stabilization at a "Housing First" homeless service agency in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Outside of her work on housing issues, Emily has worked as a freelance graphic designer on a variety of projects that combined advocacy, data analysis, and design.
