Community Justice

Justice requires that criminal laws be fairly and equitably applied, and that individuals who have served time can rebuild their lives in the community.

The Shriver Center works to ensure justice-involved Americans have fair opportunities to build a new future.

  • We advocate for laws like Ban the Box that help people with records get a fair shot at employment.
  • We oppose blanket bans on admission to subsidized housing and encourage public.
